The Clarence Willard High School class of 1981 has never had a reunion. Now, thirty years after graduation, the class members receive elegant invitations from their old English teacher, Miss Jesper. But for six of them, the invitation is more like a summons. In flowing script, Miss Jesper has added the words: "We both know something of significance happened to you your senior year. I have new information about it that you do not want made public. See you soon!"

With only three months before the reunion date, each of the six tries desperately to hold on to a present built on lies from the past. Panicked, they make decisions and take actions that could have lifelong consequences. But nothing can stop a former teacher bent on revenge.
